Summer is still going strong, which means swimsuit season is not over just yet!  This week, the Stylists at our Beverly Hills flagship were inspired by retro bikini and how to make it modern.

Read on to learn more about this week’s curated look and how to infuse a little retro-chic for your next beach getaway or poolside party.

 

Retro Vibes

 

It all starts with our retro-inspired Gerbera 2 piece bikini. I love retro-inspired styles and this one instantly gives a Marilyn Monroe vibe. The contrast piping plays off quite nicely against the black backdrop.

The bikini top is accented with shirring at the cups, and underwire, giving you full support and lift. The high waisted bottoms give you all the coverage you need, keeping something to the imagination.

 

 

 

Our team went in a new direction, eschewing the usual swim cover up, by adding one of our blazers to the mix. This is a great way to get more wearability out of your blazer, and since fall is around the corner why not?

If you’re not feeling the usual black, opt for a pop of color! Our Francis Blazer in coral is the perfect touch.

 

Top it off

 

Of course, a day at the beach or pool means one thing – making sure your skin stays protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays. A sun hat makes all the difference and our Latasha Hat is a great option.

The black accents against the white backdrop, contrast nicely with the Gerbera bikini – it’s like reverse color coordinating!
