Serving Up Red Carpet Looks

June was a jam-packed month filled with tons of new summer blockbusters! From Wonder Woman to Transformers, there seems to be an endless amount of movie releases. What we look forward to the most is the red carpet looks from the movie premieres: from hair to makeup, and of course, the fashion.

Keep scrolling to take a closer look at the looks our fave celebs wore on some recent red carpet premieres.

Wonder Woman (June 2)

By now, we’re accustomed to seeing long gowns and matching heels on the red carpet. But our Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, seems to be making a powerful statement of her own in a red, sequined Givenchy dress paired with gold, flat sandals. Put aside the chic, because according to Gal comfort is key when walking the long red carpet.

If you’re looking for comfort and glamour, try our Rhone Sandals to complete your look. Finished in a metallic gold, embossed leather, they would match perfectly under any long gown. So even if they peek through, you will stay stylish all night long.

With beauty and talent, Annabelle Wallis, lead actress of The Mummy, does not need anything more than to appear for her presence to be felt. As seen on the red carpet at the New York City movie premiere, her look was nothing short of fierce. From the long gold sequined dress to her perfectly pin tucked curls, Annabelle takes our breath away. The icing on the cake was her bronze makeup that pulled the look together to bring out her baby-blue eyes.

Recreate this perfect summer look with a simple sweep of color from our Florentine Eyeshadow Palette For a quick bronzed eye look. Add a few coats of our Drama Luxe Conditioning Gel Mascara for long, luscious lashes.

Rough Night (June 16)

With no introduction needed, A-list celeb Scarlett Johansson is a star in any movie she plays a role in. We expected nothing less than for her to dazzle in a shimmering, silver Michael Kors gown on the red carpet. Scarlett’s look was not complete without a pop of color; she wore a simple smoked out winged liner with a generous amount of blush to match her rose colored lips.

Simple enough to recreate, we suggest our Liquid Eyeliner with long-lasting wear for a classic cat eye paired with our Cream Blush that doubles as a cheek stain and a lip color.

Transformers: The Last Knight (June 21)

Often times for red carpet appearances we focus more on what the leading actresses wear and how they look instead of the actors. Behind every red carpet movie premiere, a lot of time and effort goes into getting ready – even for the guys. From grooming and hair styling to finding the right suit and coordinating dress shoes, and appearance is key when the flashbulbs are going.

Transformers stud, Josh Duhamel, definitely did not disappoint at the movie premiere. Suited up in blue, he paired this “Rico suave” look with classic leather dress shoes.  For a classic look that can be worn for many special occasions, we carry just the right oxfords for the leading man in your life. Try our Duccio shoes to complete this look.

Baby Driver (June 28)

Simple and chic, Baby Driver star Eiza Gonzalez, owned the red carpet with sleek, straight hair and clean, bold brows. To dress up this look, Eiza wore a subtle smokey eye paired with a fuschia color lip. Easy enough to recreate on your own using a few makeup pieces.

Begin with a brow pencil such as our Brow Definer to fill in sparse areas for a fuller and bolder brow. Next, using our Florentine Eyeshadow Palette to smoke out the eyes for a bit of drama to the look. Finally, top off your masterpiece with our French Rose matte lipstick to bring color back to this neutral look.
