Orange Appeal

One reason for the color’s popularity is, the 1970s have been monopolizing collections for nearly a decade. Orange was the go-to color in the 70s, not only in clothing but in home décor as well. Another factor is, globalization as the citrus color is embraced by other cultures, especially in the eastern countries such as India and parts of Africa. Of course orange plays well with almost everything.

Whether worn with warm hues such as browns and olive or cooler intensities like grey and black, orange is possibly the most versatile on the wheel.

Amazingly, there are 210 different shades of orange including Aura Orange and Mango Mojito. To give you an idea of just how popular these colors are, as of 2015, nearly 1200 items were shown worldwide.

Eve by Eve’s is excited to offer the Meilani Sleeveless Jacket in a warm orange hue. The stylish coat is made from authentic raccoon fur dyed to match our 100 percent wool, Francis Dress.
