Hello, 2018! To ring in the New Year, the Stylists at our Beverly Hills store were inspired to create a chic, low-key look that’s equal parts glam and casual-cool chic. Infusing elements like texture, shine, and soft fabrics, this is a look that you can easily recreate using pieces from your closet. Read on to learn more about this look, and resolve to shine bright this year!
Starting things off, our Stylists decided to pick a piece that truly makes a statement: a rose gold leather jacket. Rose gold jewelry has been popular over the last few years and we have seen the trend migrate into other things like handbags, watches, and now, fabrics.
The front leather paneling is made with genuine bovine leather, treated in a metallic rose gold finish. The back and sleeves are rendered in a puffer style jacket, a hot trend from 2017 we’ll also be seeing in 2018. Filled with genuine down feathers, this stunning piece not only looks incredible but keeps you sublimely warm. Let’s not also forget, it’s what’s on the inside that counts!
This lovely jacket is finished with shearling trim, similar to those popular boots spotted on every fashionista during the colder months. This jacket is a statement piece that has it all!
Anchoring the look is a neutral-hued knit sweater. This one features a mock neck silhouette, a great option, and universality flattering. Try it yourself instead of the usual hoodie or sweatshirt to instantly elevate your entire look.
Our Sammy Mock Neck feels even more feminine with a damask design and cap sleeve.
Of course, your low-key look wouldn’t be complete without the right foundation. Try a seamless bra like this one from our Raphael collection. The smooth cups keep everything concealed and it’s perfect to wear for a work day or night out.
Don’t forget to add the matching bikini panties!
Finish your low-key glam look with a swipe of lip gloss. My favorite is Dusty Rose, a gorgeous peachy-pink shade with just a touch of micro-shimmer. Add 2 coats of mascara and you’re ready to kick off your new look.
